JUSTIN KREHEL

Justin is a previous systems architect and manager who oversaw the care, feeding, and maintenance of multiple international payments platforms at a large financial institution.  He has previous experience within KPMG Advisory, having worked within the Financial Services group, serving financial institutions with their technical and data transformation projects.  He has a strong passion for security and systems design, has been responsible in overseeing the implementation and year-over-year maintenance of a banking industry specific cybersecurity program modeled on the NIST CSF, and being on the receiving end of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits.

Justin currently resides outside of Pittsburgh, PA and in his spare time he enjoys contributing to open source software, reading about new technologies, and trying to churn through his backlog of books one at a time.  He has a love of cooking, and enjoys trying something new (especially if it’s spicy!)
